Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday March 27, 2019 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on March 28, 2019 at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
Steve Silvas was born in Temple, Texas on August 23, 1959. Steve graduated from Temple High School and joined the Marines where he served for four years. Steve received several associates’ degrees from Temple College and TSTC of Waco.
Steve loved being an uncle for all his nieces and nephews.
Steve is preceded in death by his Father, a sister, Barbara Silvas, and both sets of grandparents.
Steve is survived by his mother, Josie Silvas, and his nine siblings and their spouses: Sam Silvas, Sally & Jimmy Ralston, Stacy & David Torquato, Sandy & Gina Silvas, Samantha Silvas, Scott & Kathy Silvas, Shawn Silvas, Shalane & John Burchfield and Shadow Silvas, as well as many nieces and nephews.
