

She was born May 3, 1958, in Temple to Jasper Lee and Frances Merle Owens at Scott & White Hospital. Loyce was a lifelong resident of Troy and graduated from Troy High School in 1977. She was employed by Texas Instruments and Acer and later worked as a guard host at Cedar Ridge until her retirement.
Loyce was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Moody and the APA Pool League in Temple. She enjoyed camping, fishing, softball, bowling, working puzzles, and collecting teddy bears.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Mary Joyce “Sissy” Owens; and her grandparents.
Survivors include her babies Little Girl and Little Man; her adopted children, Sharolyn “Shar” Flippo and husband Bob of Uhland; Emerson Willis of Washington; Shelia Willis-Reeves of Temple; Wendy Willis-Brown and Mundo Melendez of Temple; and Denise Erwin and husband Brad of Wimberley; her best friend, Helen Willis of Temple; sisters, Delores Owens of Troy and Sharon Yenger and husband Joe of Brenham; brother, Johnny “Bubba” Owens and wife Sandy of Temple; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Moffat Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home.
