Alice M. Ward, 90, formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday April 14, 2015 at Hamilton Grove Communities, New Carlisle. She was born September 18, 1924 to Wilburn R. and Esther J. (Catlin) Butland. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Ward (Peggy Weber) of Clinton, IN and Kathy (Mark) Belsaas of New Carlisle; two grandchildren, Matt (Desma) Belsaas of Indianapolis, IN and Kari (Michael) Bumgardner of Granger; four great-grandchildren, Caroline and Jack Bumgardner of Granger and Odin and Maren Belsaas of Indianapolis; and by two sisters, Ruth Cox of Terre Haute and Mickey Barker of CA. Cremation has taken place. Private graveside services will be held at a later date in Terre Haute.
