

Almeda Gail Bryan, 74, of Terre Haute, passed away on June 5, 2014, at Union Hospital. She was born on June 25, 1939, in Terre Haute, to Glenn and Sarah (Shears) Edmonson. Almeda was a dedicated member of United Bretheran Union Church. She loved spending time with her family. Almeda was a loving mother who cherished her children and will be truly missed.
Almeda is survived by her children: Bobby Edmonson, Brenda Cox, and Bruce Bryan, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Joseph Edmonson and his wife Rita and Sarah Edmonson, all of Rockford, IL; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Matthew Edmonson of Rockford, IL; a brother, James Edmonson and his wife Carol of Florida; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter Linda Edmonson; brothers, William and Tommy Edmonson, and sisters Daphane Spencer, Sally Denbo, Judy Carpenter, and Patty Edmonson.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial gathering with a carry in dinner will be held at United Bretheran Union Church, 2611 Thompson Street, Terre Haute, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
