Arnold Lewis Page, 93, of Terre Haute passed peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 17, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 10, 1924, in Linton to Erman and Florence (Duncan) Page.
Arnold is survived by his children, Sue Collins, Arnold “Buzz” Page and wife Jan, Karen Page, Gary Page and wife Peggy, Ronald Page and wife Kim, and Debra Page; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma Jean (Atto) Page; a sister; and three brothers.
Arnold was the co-owner and operator of Page’s IGA and several other stores for many years. He started his career in the grocery industry as a meat cutter for Kroger. Arnold graduated from Linton High School, and served in the United States Army in WWII. He was a member of North Terre Haute Baptist Church and Gideon’s International. Arnold enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and loved to travel. Playing cards with his family and friends was a favorite past time.
Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 23 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home with Rev. Brett Parks officiating.
