Barbara Ann Forsythe

Barbara Ann Forsythe, 90, of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Harrison’s Crossing Health Campus. She was born on April 11, 1927, in Clinton to Domenic “Babe” Giovanini and Ellen (Rasimas) Giovanini. Both of her parents died in 2000 and were 99 years old. Her beloved husband, George Forsythe, whom she married in 1950, passed away in 1999. Barbara and George have two surviving sons: Douglas E. Forsythe and Michael E. Forsythe and wife Linda, all of Terre Haute; two granddaughters, Elizabeth McMorris and husband Bryce of Bloomington, IL and Rachel Alvarez of Danville, IL; four great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Avery McMorris, Hope and Damion Alverez. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Phyllis Haynes and husband Will of Smyrna, TN, and Marva Dean Forsythe of Florence, AL, both wonderful ladies and their families always showed their love and concern for Barbara and George. Barbara leaves behind many friends whom she loved and appreciated and her Eastside Church of Christ and Libertyville Church of Christ families that were very special to her. Barbara wishes you all an affectionate “God Bless You!” and Numbers 6:21-26. Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will take place at 2 p.m., on Monday, at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Strahm officiating. Barbara will be laid to rest next to George in Roselawn Memorial Park.
