

She was born at home in rural Napoleon, Missouri to Harry Wesley Murry and Ernestine Virginia Smith.
Bettie is survived by two children: Kathy McClain of Terre Haute, Indiana and Joseph Lynch of Clinton, Indiana; two granddaughters: Alex McClain of Montpelier, Vermont and Jaycee McClain of Rosedale, Indiana; two foster grandsons of Clinton, Indiana; her two sisters: Linda Pierce and husband Dale of Warsaw, Missouri and Mary Barker and husband Garry of Oak Grove, Missouri; along with a host of family and friends that loved her very much.
Proceeding her in death are her mother and father; sister, Marilyn Ann Murry; brother, Larry Wesley Murry; granddaughter, Joslynn Lynch; and husband Thomas (Bummy) Roberts.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mt Tabor United Methodist Church in Odessa, Missouri at a later date at Mt. Tabor Methodist Church Hall.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Gibson Center For Hospice Care for all of their hard work and compassion during this difficult time.
