Betty Louise Cuffle

Betty Louise (Brenton) Cuffle, 84, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 at Union Hospital. She was born in Seelyville, Indiana on October 12, 1935 to Reverend Beldon and Cecil (Brock) Brenton.
Betty counted herself very fortunate to have so many friends all over the Wabash Valley. She retired from Columbia Records, worked for Grandma Joy’s, and was a Crossing Guard for Davis Park Elementary. Later in life, Betty joined Foster Grandparent Program and for many years she worked at Ryves Hall Youth Center. She enjoyed the kids, her friends, her co-workers, and the fellowship she found there.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Patrick Dale Bennett and Darryl Wayne Dean; her brothers and sisters, Lester Brenton, Mable Summers, John Edward Brenton, Estel Lee Brenton, Pauline Rose Dean, Lorene Marie Kamedulski; and one great-granddaughter, Morgan.
Betty is survived by her sister, Gertrude Cuffle; her children, Susan Bennett, Greg Fort, Becky Edington, Bobby Cuffle, Raymond Cuffle, Debbie Cuffle, Ronnie Cuffle; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and blessed with an abundant amount of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Betty will be at 3:00pm Friday, August 7, 2020 at Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences can be made at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net.
