Betty was born on August 22, 1927, to Chessie and Ola (Humphrey) Lynch. She spent her entire working career with Indiana Bell, where she served as an attendant. After many years of dedicated service, Betty retired.
Betty loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed scouring yard sales and auctions in search of a good bargain. She especially treasured time spent with her family. There wasn’t a family function you wouldn’t find Betty attending, as being surrounded by those she loved brought her great joy.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Lynch, as well as a loving family who will carry on her legacy, including several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 North Clinton Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47805. Graveside services will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Betty will be lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
