Beulah Bays

Beluah Bays 92 of Marshall, IL passed away peacefully at her sons Rex Bays house on Nov.29, 2015. She was born on Dec.20, 1922 in Terre Haute, IN to Benjamin F. Rudisel and Pricilla Bloomfield Rudisel.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed, working with Geneology, gardening, cooking, sewing, quilting and loved spending time with her family.

Beulah was survived by her children, Marcia Strait and husband James, Chester D. Bays Jr. and wife Josephine, Barbara Heiner, Sandra Spaulding, Rex Bays and wife Janis, Mark Bays and companion Helen Baker, and Penelope Burgess. She was also survived by 34 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Beluah was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Pricilla Rudisel, her husband Chester Bays, her children, Pat, Steve, Tim, and Peggy, 4 sisters, 4 brothers, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren

Services will be Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 1 PM. Visitation will be Thursday at Thomas Funeral Home from 4-8 PM and one hour before service time at the church. Officiating will be Br LeRoy Sedgwick with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery
