It is with profound sadness that the family of Brenda K. Cooper announces her passing on January 23, 2026, at her residence in Nancy, Kentucky. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and deep love for her family and friends.
She was born on July 13, 1950, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to the late Debe and Helen Kassis, and was preceded in death by her brothers, Philip and Larry Kassis.
Brenda is survived by her husband, John Cooper; her sons, Greg Cooper and wife Tammy, and Ryan Cooper and wife Kimmy; her grandchildren, Rachel, Jessie, and Dan Cooper; four step-grandchildren; four step–great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Brenda’s life was marked by warmth, generosity, and quiet strength. She enjoyed playing euchre with friends and spending time reading. Her loving spirit and gentle presence touched all who knew her, and she leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and compassion.
Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute, Indiana, is honored to serve the family of Brenda K. Cooper. Services will be held on Friday, February sixth.
