Catherine Gobin

She was born April 21, 1927 in Terre Haute, Indiana to George and Thelma Hamilton.

Catherine was a member of North Terre Haute Christian Church since the age of 16. She also loved to be with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Gobin of Terre Haute, Jack and Jodi Gobin of Terre Haute, Chris and Marcy Gobin of Texas; a daughter, Connie Cannon of Washington; brother George Hamilton Jr., of Florida; sister Thelma Delisle of Michigan; 34 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack R. Gobin Sr.; her parents, George and Thelma Hamilton; her sons Robert Scott Gobin, and Frank Clark; and her sisters, Lena Poole and Theresa Swift.

Services will be Sunday at 2:00pm with a visitation Sunday from 11:00am-2:00pm at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Kyle Andrews, with a burial to follow at Prairie Creek Westlawn in Prairie Creek.
