Surviving are two daughters Jil (Brett) Utterback and Cindy Strieby, six grandchildren, Brett Bryant (Kelly) Utterback, Matthew (Monica) Utterback, Karyn Utterback, Greta (Bradley) Wirey, Krista (Eric) Madison, and Kendra (Mike) Henthorne; additionally, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Gorby, sister Patricia Hoffner, brother David Otto, and son-in-law Ken Strieby.
Charlene retired from AP&S clinic and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Her favorite pastimes were square dancing, gardening her flowers, and collecting roosters.
Visitation will be July 23, 2024 from 11AM to 1PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Funeral Service will begin at 1PM. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
