Charles "Chuck" Fay Moore

Charles “Chuck” Fay Moore, 55, of Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 15, 2020. He was born on March 26, 1965, in Terre Haute to Dane Ray and Beverly Sue (Harney) Moore. Chuck is survived by his mother, Beverly Sue Moore of Terre Haute; brothers, Timothy Ray Moore and wife Cathy, Terry Jay Moore and wife LeAnna, Michael Lee Moore and fiancée Kelley Ross; cousin, Diana Glover and husband Roger; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dane Ray Moore; grandparents, Charles and Mildred Moore, and Fay and Georgia Harney; a niece, Tina Jean Striegel; and sister-in-law, Nancy Moore. Chuck graduated from Terre Haute North High School. He worked at several jobs around the Wabash Valley. He loved to help his mom take care of the house, yard, and farm. Always one for enjoying the peace and solitude of country life, Chuck liked to ride his four-wheeler, play with his dog, Buddy, and search for interesting rocks and arrowheads to add to his collection. Most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He will be truly missed. A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, June 19 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home.
