He is survived by his wife of 38 wonderful years Susan (Elkins). Children; David Dickens III (Gina), William Norton(Jolynn), Kenny Dickens, Christopher Bennett (Debbie), Betty Hayes (Therman), Nila Stevens (Clarence), Tina Wood (Norman) Sue Fisher (Michael). Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brothers; James Dickens. Sisters; Brenda Booker, Sandy Dickens and Virginia Montgomery (David).
He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother Willard Clark, Sister Lillie Montgomery.
He enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends. He loved to tinker with old scrap and complete puzzles with his wife. He went to church at Hillsdale Bible church and was a believer of Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 North Clinton Street, Terre Haute, IN 47805, US, on August 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at Roselawn Funeral Home on August 24, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
