Deloris Eileen Dispennett

Deloris DisPennett, 88, of Parke County, Indiana, passed away on March 19, 2026 with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 6, 1937, in Vigo County, Indiana to William and Nora (Kelly) Bennett. Deloris was a country music singer. She traveled to Nashville, Tennessee and performed in Tootsie's Lounge. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed by those who loved her. Deloris was preceded in death by her parents; siblings William “Bill” Bennett (Betty), Lawrence Bennett (Wanda), Mabel Leach (Dick), Nora Swift (Floyd), Kenny Bennett, and Floyd Bennett (Harriett). She is survived by her husband of 47 years Kenneth DisPennett; children Darrell Pruitt Jr (Cheryl) and Darla Summerlot (Kevin); grandchildren Darrell Pruitt III, Dusty Pruitt (Hannah), Amy David (Tony), Kevin Summerlot (Hannah), and Darrell Andrew Summerlot (Jen) ; great grandchildren Maci, Tucker & Camri Pruitt, Coleman & Ellie Pruitt, Landon David, Jack Summerlot, Ryan, Addy, Emma Rose Summerlot. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 27, 2026. Visitation will be from 10:00a.m until 2:p.m service time. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park immediately after the service.
