Deloris Jean Vaughn

Deloris Jean Dunfee Vaughn, 76 passed away at 3:40pm on Thursday, December 14, 2017 in Union Hospital. She was born Nov. 22, 1941 in Terre Haute, IN to James Dunfee and Laura Hocket Dunfee. She was married to James R. “Jim” Vaughn for 42 years.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, James R. “Jim” Vaughn; a daughter Debbie Vaughn, Terre Haute; two sons, Joe Vaughn, Terre Haute and Jimmy Vaughn, West Palm Beach, FL; seven grandchildren: Mandy Hazen, Connor Davis, Brittney Vaughn, Myah Vaughn, Joseph Vaughn, Samantha Skelton, and Ritchie Noble; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Debbie Dunfee Perelle, Terre Haute; one brother, Kenny Dunfee, Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Ginny Dillingham & Alice Vaughn; three brothers Tommy Dunfee, Paul Dunfee and Roy Dunfee; and great-granddaughter Cassie Kelley.

Deloris liked to cook and dearly loved her family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 12 noon to 2:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home with Pastor Vince McFarland officiating.
