

Donald Ray Durham, 88, of Terre Haute, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus. He was born on May 16, 1927, in Gilmour, IN to Lawrence and Ruth (Wilkins) Durham.
Donald is survived by his wife of 65 years, Blanche Feuquay Durham of Terre Haute; sister-in-law, Jan Feuquay of Avon, IN; brother, Max Durham of Midland, IN; sister, Charlotte Dawson and husband Phil of Carthage, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Willis Durham; a sister, Maxine Wright; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
Donald proudly served in the United States Navy in the Asian Pacific Theater during WWII. He worked for ConRail Railroad in Avon and retired in 1980. Don was an active member of Agape Christian Church where he served as an elder and deacon. He previously served as an elder at several other churches in Indiana and Florida.
He was past Master of Masonic Lodge #669 in Indianapolis and past Worthy Patron of Groveland O.E.S. #330. He loved fishing, camping, playing card games, and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 30, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m., and from 10 until time of service on Saturday, October 31 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Roselawn Funeral Home. Don’s family wishes to thank ViaQuest Hospice for their support during the last several months. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Agape Christian Church or ViaQuest Hospice.
