Oct. 27, 1935 -- Feb. 28 2015 WEST TERRE HAUTE — Donald Ray Graham, 79, of West Terre Haute, Ind., passed away at 6:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, in Clinton Gardens Healthcare Center in Clinton, Ind. He retired as an engineer with Bemis Corporation at Terre Haute after 37 years of service. He was born Oct. 27, 1935, in Terre Haute, to Ray Otto and Ruth Olive Moreland Graham. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Martyne Kuhn Graham, whom he married Jan. 27, 1956; daughter, Sallee Goodwin Wagner and husband Michael of Terre Haute; son and daughter-in-law, Kenn and Tina Graham of West Terre Haute; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Ann and Dave Bird of Columbus, Ind.; nine grandchildren: Misti Corrigan and husband Joe, Ryan Goodwin and wife Michelle, Matt Goodwin and wife Ashley, Brandi Collins and fiancé Mike Adams, Donald Collins and wife Ashley, Lydia Elmore and husband Allen, Hannah Goodwin, Emilee Goodwin, and Benjamin Graham; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Larry Collins; and brother, Kenneth Graham. Don was a member of the Indiana National Guard for many years, and retired as a first sergeant. He was an avid outdoorsman. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, with Pastor Phil Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, with military graveside rites by the Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, and prior to services Tuesday. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the New Beginnings Baptist Church in New Goshen, with envelopes available in the funeral home.
