Donald H. Lawson

Don was born in Rockville on May 20, 1934, the son of the late Robert and Eva (Jackman) Lawson. In 1955, he was united in marriage to his loving and devoted wife, Amaryllis “Amy.” Don worked for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1393 and will forever be remembered as a hardworking, kind and loyal man. He adored his wife, children and grandchildren and also was a car enthusiast. Don’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched for several generations to come.

He is survived by his wife, Amaryllis “Amy,” along with his two daughters, Carmen and husband Mitch Fuqua of Terre Haute and Cindy and husband Robert Jovanovich of Clinton; four grandsons, Brandon Donald Kassis of Terre Haute, Joe and wife Heidi Jovanovich of Houston, TX., Orin and wife Jennifer Reininga of Backlick, OH. And Dustin and wife Tia Jovanovich of Indianapolis; six great grandchildren, sisters, Irene Reyer of Grand Rapids, MI., Lucy and husband Lee Seward of Waveland, Wanetta “Bunny” Harmon of Rockville and his brother, Kenneth Lawson of Rockville.

In addition to his parents, Don was welcomed home to heaven by his brother, Dale Lawson.
