Dorothy Eagle

Dorothy Eagle, 95, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on March 8, 2026. She was born on September 24, 1930, in Mill Point, West Virginia, to Elmer Triplett and Dorothula (Payton) Triplett. Dorothy enjoyed reading, canning, keeping her dishes washed, and doing puzzles. She was a proud homemaker and enjoyed showing off her family to others in pictures. Her family was her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse Hercle Eagle; children Paul Triplett and Donna Galford; and 11 siblings. Dorothy is survived by her children Raymond Galford (Sharon), Joyce Scott (Jack), Robert Eagle (Mickey), Linda Holt (Mark), and David Eagle; grandchildren Jack Scott Jr., Clint Allen Johnson, Barrett James Johnson, Heather Lytle, Thomas Jefferson Holt II, Darren Galford, Tasha Beck and Dimitry Datig; great grandchildren Nikayla Scott, Trinity Scott, Owen Johnson, Zoe Johnson, Benjamin Lytle, Owen Lytle, and Kathryn Holt; also surviving is her sister-in-law and special friend Evelina Triplett. Entombment will take place in the Chapel of Memories at Roselawn Memorial Park. Services will be private. In leu of flowers please take a moment to thank the Lord for today.
