Dorothy J Harmon

Dorothy Harmon, 88, of Terre Haute, passed away at Westridge Healthcare. She was born on July 22, 1923, in Terre Haute to Jay and Hazel (Straughn) Wells. She married Joe Harmon and together they raised four sons. Dorothy’s family would like to thank the staff at Westridge for all of the care and compassion that Dorothy received during her time there.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Joe Harmon, Bob Harmon of Indianapolis, Larry Harmon and his companion Bonnie of Terre Haute, and Randy Harmon and his wife Jeri of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Christina Boatman, Sean Harmon and his fiancé Jillian Kerns, and Ryan Harmon and his companion Whitney Harlan; a great-granddaughter, Emily Boatman; a sister, Hazel Harmon; a sister-in-law, Norma Harmon; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe, and a sister, Evelyn Pruitt.

Per her wishes, private family services are being held. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Terre Haute Humane Society. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
