

Edward was born to Edward Rogers Sr. and Betty Lamb in November of 1948. He graduated from Garfield High School in 1966 and went on to join the United States Marine Corps.
After serving in the Marines Edward went on to work as a control operator at Bemis and Ampacet.
Edward was a member of the VFW post 972, the Marine Corp League and American Legion post 104. He would play Bingo every Thursday and would bowl every Monday and Friday. He also loved the roller skating rink and would spend his free time at Skateworld.
Edward is survived by his wife Rebecca Rogers; daughter Michelle Steward and husband Ronnie; sons Larry Rogers and wife Traci, and Justin Rogers and wife Ashley; brother John Rogers and wife Kathy; sister Darlene Holstein and husband Gary; Dennis Benefiel; sister Sue Blankenship and husband Ernie; sister Kathy Clark and husband Chad; brother Harold Rogers; grandchildren Courtney, Cody, Clayton, Shanon, Emerie, Phenix; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Betty Benefiel and Edward Rogers Sr.; parents-in-law Oscar and Eva Rigdon; brothers Roy and Jimmy Rogers; sister Georgetta Favre; sister-in-law Vera Benefiel; and great grandson Alexander.
