Elinor Sue Cleveland, 94, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on May 26, 2026. She was born on April 18, 1932, in Johnson County, Indiana, to Howard and Lela Heflin. Elinor attended Indiana University, where she met John Cleveland and was married in 1953. She was a proud homemaker, who loved quilting, sewing, cooking, and participating in church and local activities. Elinor is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband John. She is survived by her children Teresa Bonewits (Brent), Catherine Brown (Gary), and Mark Cleveland (Morticia); 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and sister Martha Hyde. In honoring Elinor’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. No services are scheduled at this time.
