Frances G. Buell

Frances G. Buell, 87, of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Southwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on March 17, 1926, in Terre Haute, to George Harlan and Pearl (Dildene) Rector. Frances married Wayne M. Buell, Jr., and together they raised three sons. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 51 years and a member of World Gospel Church for 24 years. Faith and family were very important to Frances. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Frances is survived by her sons, David Buell and his wife Teresa, Paul Buell and his wife Susan, and Mark Buell, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren David Buell, Michael Buell, Kyle Hagerman, Elizabeth Buell, Matthew (Sarah) Buell, Ian Knight, and Issac Buell, all of Terre Haute; great-grandchildren: Jameson, Keegan, Kendall, Hunter, Hogarth, and a Baby Buell on the way; a brother George (Linda) Rector of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers Herman and William Rector, and sisters Thelma Euriga, Mary Olbrich, Martha Boling, Helen Rector, and Mable Waid.

Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 on Monday, September 30 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, at the funeral home with Reverend Alfy Austin officiating. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Park.
