Frank Emerson Deardurff Jr., 87, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025, in Terre Haute, Indiana, after living a full yet simple life. He was born on December 18, 1937, in Terre Haute to Frank Emerson Deardurff Sr. and Eunice Ordell McCullough Walters.
Frank was best known for his work in the custom paint and auto body industry. He also had a passion for playing guitar, woodworking, and wood carving. Though he traveled to several states throughout his life, Terre Haute was always home.
He is survived by his five children: Darla Miller, Nadine (Yip) Kwok, Frank (Sharon) Deardurff III, John Deardurff, and April Deardurff. He was also blessed with four grandchildren: Kelli (Kyle) Alford, Jessica (Trevor) Purcell, Katie Miller, and Molly Kwok, along with several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Frank was the eldest of five siblings. He was preceded in death by Hallie Mae Smith, Alice Bemis, and David Woodard, and is survived by his youngest brother, Sam (Christine) Racey.
No visitation is scheduled. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
