Gabriella Norton

Gabriella (Leturgez) Norton, 68, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 in Southwood Health Care Center. She was born in Terre Haute on March 30, 1950 to Gabriel and Lena Mae (Philpot) Leturgez. Gabriella was a graduate of West Vigo High School Class of 1967. She was a cook at Crawford Elementary for several years until moving to Union Hospital where she worked as a cook until she retired.

Gabriella was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Robert Leturgez, Michael Leturgez, Wilma Lichti, Phyllis McNeely, and Paul Leturgez.

She is survived by her loving husband, William Norton Sr., whom she married on 26 June 1976; her four sons, Thomas (Amy) Leturgez, Gabriel (Melanie) Norton, Jerry (April) Norton, Terry (Heather) Norton; her siblings, Gerald “Tony” (Pat) Leturgez, Freddie (Brenda) Leturgez, Deborah (Joseph) Stephens, Joseph (Regina) Leturgez, Larry (Linda) Leturgez, and Lowell “Knocky” (Gloria Jean) Leturgez; 25 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm with Minister Thomas Leturgez officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her honor to the Terre Haute Humane Society.
