Gary Lee Mattox

Gary Lee Mattox, 59, passed away at his residence on December 15, 2020. Gary was born on May 14, 1961 to Amos Lee and Ruth Marlene (Hayne) Mattox in Terre Haute, Indiana. He is survived by his three children, Holly Mullen (Brandon), Amos Mattox (Amanda), and Elizabeth Grassick (Daniel); six grandchildren, Madison Mullen, Gavin Mullen, Eliza Mattox, Izabelle Mattox, Dalton Grassick, and Colton Grassick; two sisters, Vicki Larson (Daniel) and Cheryl Wrightsman (Glenn); along with the mother of his children, Mary Mattox. Gary retired from Data Label, where he was a press operator for 30 years. Gary enjoyed to spend his spare time outdoors. He loved to go hunting and fishing. But most of all, he loved to spend time with his kids and grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be held from 9am-12pm on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held at 12pm with Pastor Jeffrey Harpole officiating.
