George Landes

On September 7, 1956 he married his high school sweetheart, Sandra Brown, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a son Tommy, a grandson Travis, one brother Tom, sisters Carol Goodpaster and Thelma Sibert and her husband Dick.

George is survived by his son, Tim Landes and wife Linda, daughters Tammy and her companion Terry and Tracy Buis. Also, sister Delores Wells, sister-in-law Phyllis Landes, seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

He was a lifelong appliance salesman in Terre Haute. He loved spending time with his family and watching all of the grandchildren at their many sporting events. He loved gardening, traveling the world and had many years as a snowbird in Florida. He enjoyed an extensive social life and had many dear friends. He will be sadly missed by all.
