George Dean Snyder

the age of 65. George was born on April 5th, 1956 in Kokomo, IN. He earned his business management

and accounting degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute in 1978, and was a dedicated

employee of Data Label, Inc. for 37 years. On March 30th, 1985 he married Deborah Kuhar and built a

life together for the next 36 years. Together they raised their daughter, Kristin Snyder.

“Life is Good” is a common phrase you would hear George impart at the end of the workday, or after a

bug run when waterskiing. He enjoyed spending his ‘free’ time with friends and family by sharing

stories, inspiring ideas, and joining in on the laughter. He found peace in the woods or on the water,

enjoyed burning things, and always kept busy with projects.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Alma (Taylor) Snyder. He is survived by his

loving wife, Debbie Snyder, only child Kristin Snyder and her husband Luke Rager, and grandson Rhys

George Rager. He is survived by brother Don (wife Sarah), sister Barbara (partner Yvon); his nephews

DJ, Dustin (wife Laura), David Jr.; and nieces Danielle (fiancé Dan), Kelsey (husband Mitch and greatniece

Chloe), and Kelly.

Visitation hours will begin on Wed., June 30th, 2021 from 5:00pm with a Memorial Service to begin at

7:00pm at Roselawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 7500 N. Clinton St. 47805. Memorial

donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Terre Haute Humane Society.
