

Harry is survived by his children: Paula Hurst and husband Norm of Southern California; Kathy Beal and husband Bruce of Vancouver, WA; Helmut Korstick and wife Nina of Santa Rosa, CA; Mike Cochran and wife Roberta of Santa Rosa, CA; David Cooper and wife Susan of Long Beach, CA; and Cyndi Noel and husband Todd of Terre Haute; sister, Saundra Leslie; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Cooper; son, John Cochran; and brother, Douglas Cooper.
Harry served in the Korean War for the United States Air Force. He worked as a lineman for Southern California Edison before retiring and moving to be close to his youngest daughter and family in Terre Haute. Harry attended Maryland Community Church. Armed with a strong faith and a vast knowledge of the Bible and its teachings, Harry loved to serve the Lord and encouraged others in their walk of faith.
Born with an artistic spirit, Harry loved photography, doodling, and showing off his green thumb with his gardening abilities. He loved planes and became a licensed pilot. Harry also enjoyed trains.
Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 on Monday, June 15 at Roselawn Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Scot Longyear officiating.
