Hazel Louise Byerley

She was born May 13, 1935, to Pearlie and Mildred Fields. She married her true love, Earl Byerley, at 16 years of age on October 5, 1951.

Growing up she had traveled, been a nurses aid at St. Anthony, and raised their two children and several others. Hazel loved her little faithful Ginger. She also had lived many years being cared for by her grandson Kevin and also near the end, by many loved ones and special nieces.

She is survived by her children Earlene Lanning and her husband John, Earl A. Byerley and wife Gayle, 8 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and a large extended family. She is also survived by 4 sisters Sandy Fagg of Hymera ,IN, Marsha Orndoff of Tatum, TX, Rebecca Maldonado of Maumelle, Arkansas, Faye Goodale of Terre Haute, IN; one brother Jackie P Fields of Tatum, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl, 3 infant children, a grandson Jeremy Byerley, and a sister Garnet Wilson.

Following her passing she has left a hole in our hearts that will be filled again one day.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home, with a visitation Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences can be made at www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
