Helen Marie (Jones) (Lovelady) Davis, 94, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born on July 4, 1924 to Josiah and Goldie Marie (Myers) Jones in West Terre Haute, Indiana.
She was a member of the Wabash Valley Herb Society, the Indiana Gourd Society, and an avid member of First Baptist North. In her free time, she loved to garden, grow flowers, sew, upholster, and work with crafts.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Carl Franklin Lovelady, Jr.; her parents; her husband, Azzie Davis; and one brother, Darrell W. Jones.
Helen is survived by one brother, Gene Jones; five children; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Thursday, November 29, 2018, from 11:00am – 1:00pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm with Pastor Gene Walls officiating.
