

Imogene Wodicka, 82, of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, January 28 at Meadows Manor East. She was born on November 20, 1929, in Oakland, IL to Jerome and Alice (Davis) Herring. She married Richard Wodicka on November 7, 1948. Imogene was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School. She and Richard were founding members of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, and community service work. Imogene was a devoted wife and mother and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her sons, Dr. David Wodicka and his wife Sonya of Lynchburg, VA, and Keith Wodicka of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Brent Wodicka and wife Lauren of Leesburg, VA, Dr. Ross Wodicka of Miami, FL, and Reid Wodicka of Charlotte, NC; great-grandson, Jack Wodicka of Leesburg, VA; and a brother, Jack Herring and wife Dorothy of Youngstown, OH.
Imogene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, and a brother, Bill Herring.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 1 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Teresa Higus officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
