Jack W. Burton

Jack W. Burton, 88, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday, November 08, 2016. He was born in Sullivan County to Garland and Isa Burton. He attended Graysville High School and was employed at Public Service Indiana, where he retired in 1992. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Works Local 725.

Jack loved to camp and spend time outdoors, but also enjoyed spending his winters in Florida. More than anything, though, Jack loved spending time with his family.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois Eileen Burton, and his two brothers, Joe Burton and Jay Michael Burton.

He is survived by his children, Jack Richard (Nadine) Burton, LeAnne (Saul) Timukas, Susan Royer, and Gary (Jodie) Burton; nine grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and his special friend, Grace Yowell.

A funeral service will be held in Jack’s honor on Saturday, November, 12, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. His family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
