Jim married the love of his life, Beth Creasey, in June of 1982. Together, they built a life filled with family, love, laughter, and countless memories.
Jim was a hardworking man who spent many years working for Republic Services. He was also known for his great sense of humor and his ability to enjoy the simple things in life. He loved playing golf with his buddies, and a round of golf followed by a cold beer was always a good day. But even golf couldn’t compete with the love he had for his grandchildren.
Jim was a proud grandfather to Kasen, Kellan, Keaton, Zane, Hayden, and Aubrey. He loved being involved in their lives and enjoyed attending their activities, especially band concerts and competitions. Some of his favorite times were spent with his grandchildren swimming in the backyard pool, going on tractor rides, or simply being together.
Family was at the heart of Jim’s life. He loved hosting family gatherings for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and other special occasions. He especially enjoyed having his family together under one roof. Jim was also the family’s unofficial holiday videographer, always ready with his video camera to capture the moments, laughter, and memories that he knew would become treasured years later.
Those closest to Jim will remember his warm and familiar greetings to his grandchildren. Walking through the door meant hearing, “Hi, my Kasen,” “Hi, my Kellan,” or “Hi, my Keaton.” Those simple words were a reflection of the love and pride he had for his grandchildren, and they are words his family will carry in their hearts forever.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Frances (Hudson) Creasey; his sister, Patty Auten; and brothers-in-law, Danny Reeves and Jay Webster.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beth Creasey; son, Kip Mueller; son, Devin Creasey (Jessica); daughter, Lindsey Creasey; grandchildren, Kasen, Kellan, Keaton, Zane, Hayden, and Aubrey; siblings, Nancy Reeves, Janice McCauley (Richard), Sue Webster, and Chuck Creasey; and several nieces and nephews.
Jim leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will forever remember his laughter, his humor, his love of golf, his holiday video camera, and most of all, the love he had for his family.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His greatest legacy will be the family he loved so dearly and the countless memories he made with them.
