James A Stevens

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Debra (Fleshner) Stevens, a daughter, Melody (Stevens) Parker and an uncle, Jerry Eddy.

James is survived by his sons, James Stevens Jr. (Julie), and Kevin Stevens (Nelda), a daughter, Pamela (Stevens) Reed (Tommy); grandchildren: Susan (Stevens) Nelms (John), James Stevens III, Richard Smith (Gina), Jessica Kearschner, Darrell Kearschner (Debbie), Joanne Inman (Brad), Robin Stevens (Chris), George Stevens, Brandy (Stevens) Meldell (Jenna), Jeremy Stevens, Jimmy Joe Stevens, Ryan Brewer, a host of great grandchildren and his best friends, Vernon Linder and Jean Vibbert.

He was a member of Agape Christian Church.

Services for James are Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home at noon. Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time. Pastor David Rawis will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
