She enjoyed watching her grandchildren perform impromptu dance shows in costume and spoiled her great-grandchildren with homemade cakes and hugs. In recent years, she stayed active by traveling to visit family and friends, attending swim classes, making food for church gatherings, regularly volunteering her time at the Light House Mission and spoiling her dogs Abby and Andy.
