Jo Ann Foli

Jo Ann “Jo” (Hipkiss) Foli, Jo departed on Good Friday, April 18, 2014 to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jo was born on April 13, 1946 to Dorothy Vanness Hipkiss and James E. Hipkiss. She is survived by husband, Rene A. Foli, two sons Kyle D. Foli and wife Crysti of Jasonville, Indiana, and Douglas A. Foli and wife Angela of Terre Haute, Indiana. She had two granddaughters Kyndall Ann and Adisun Makayla Foli. She is also survived by her sister Darlene Price of Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers James and Richard, Grandparents Adda and Charles Tolar, and Daniel and Lucinda Hipkiss.

Jo was a member of the Indiana Nurses Association. She attended St. Mary of the Woods College and Indiana State University. She was a member of St. Joseph’s University Parish and growing up was a twenty year member of Maryland Community Church.

Her likes were simple; they consisted of the love of our Lord, her family, and all of God’s creation. She was a loving, loyal and faithful servant of God and her family.

Services will be at St. Joseph University Parish Wednesday, April 23 with visitation at 10:15 to 10:50 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 AM with Friar Mark Weaver officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to St. Joseph University Parish Samaritan Basket Fund or Catholic Charities of Terre Haute.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials.
