John Henry Peters Sr.

John Henry Peters Sr., 66, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away April 12, 2015. He was born May 3, 1948 to John E. Peters and Freda (Williams) Peters. John retired from Conrail. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, playing cards, cooking, and most of all spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of almost 20 years Debra Greaver, whom he married July 1, 1995; son John Peters Jr. (Nicole); three daughters Tina Goodman (Robert), Melissa Peters, Magen McMurtry (Kegan Surber); sisters Hilda Mason Lessard and Helen Vermillion; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son Mickey; son Max Peters; brothers Thomas Peters and David L. Peters. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday April 15, 2015 at 1:00p.m. in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
