Judie Darlene Pruitt

Judie Darlene Pruitt, age 77, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023. She was born on August 26, 1945 in Terre Haute to Alfred C. Steadman and Martha Jane Barnett Steadman.

She was a graduate of Garfield High School.

Judie had been employed at 4-C Daycare, Meis Department Store, Shultz Department Store, CBS, and Columbia House Records.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darrell Elbert Pruitt; a son, Darren Pruitt; and a sister Cherlyn Russell and her husband Jack.

Surviving are her daughter, Misty Cochran; a sister, Loretta Sanders; her beloved grandchildren, Mikey Davis and wife Jacky, and Tabitha Cochran; one great grandson, Jasper Davis; several nieces and nephews.

Judie was an accomplished musician, and was an inductee of the Vigo County Music Hall of Fame. She enjoyed playing the Mandolin, Keyboard and the Tambourine. Judie loved the sing old Country Western songs. Most of all, Judie enjoyed family time, especially the Holidays and time at the family cabin.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10 AM at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
