Judith Ann O'Neal

She was born on May 2,1941, in Pacific Junction, Iowa, to Henry E. Kates and Lucille M. (Richardson) Kates.

Of all the roles she held in life, none were more precious to Judy than being a mother and grandmother. She poured her heart into her family and found her greatest happiness in their presence. She cherished every opportunity to be surrounded by those she loved. Her home was a place of comfort and laughter. Her love created memories that her family will carry with them forever.

She is survived by her children Brian O'Neal (Dee), Lori Higginbotham (Curt), and Pam DeStafney (Jeremy);

Grandchildren: Craig O'Neal (Stevi), Katie Coke (Eli), Jake Higginbotham (Shaunte'), Kevin Ellis, Megan Ellis, and Brenna DeStafney; Great Grandchildren: Gunner, Hayes, Barrett, Hank and Harvie; Dear sister in law, Kathleen Kates and several nieces and

nephews that meant alot to her.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Loren O'Neal to whom she was married for 42 years, her parents, and her brothers Kenny, Rodney and Mike.

Services are scheduled for Saturday June 20, 2026. Visitation is from 11am to 1pm. Service will take place at 1pm with burial to follow. All services will be at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N Clinton Street, Terre Haute, IN. 47805.
