Kei Dugger

Kei Ichinohe Dugger, of Rosedale, was born in Aomori-Ken, Japan, on March 28, 1929. She met her husband, Robert Lee Dugger, in Japan, during the war and together they traveled to the United States and settled in Rosedale.
Kei's surviving family includes one daughter, Erika Nelson and her husband Mike of Frankfort; two sons, Kenneth Dugger and his wife Mary Beth and Charles Dugger and his wife Julie, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Nicholas McMahan and his wife Natalie, Aaron McMahan and his wife Kelly, Lindsey Garcia and her husband Kelly, Kyle Dugger, Gwendolyn Drake and her husband Matt, Scott Dugger and his wife Morgan, Nathan Dugger, Luke Dugger and Madison Wagner; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hartley, Aubree, Ivy, Preston, Fletcher, Colt, Callie, and Benjamin; and her extended family and loved ones in Japan.
Kei was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dugger; and her infant daughter, Mary.
Kei was a beautiful, brave, courageous, and proud woman that gave all of herself to others. She loved to care for others and if you were loved by her, you knew it. She had a welcoming way of making people feel comfortable. She loved her family deeply. She volunteered her time to different schools, loved sports, traditional Japanese cooking, origami, sewing, and gardening.
She will be greatly missed.
A memorial visitation will be Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. The memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. with entombment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences can be made at: www.roselawnfuneralhome.net
