Harold Kenneth “Hoopie” Hoopengarner, 85 of Terre Haute, IN passed away at his residence on Oct. 14, 2014 with his family by his side. He was a member of Wayne Newton Post 346, Masonic Lodge #268, and retired from the I.B.E.W. Local#725.Kenny was also an Army and Air Corp Veteran during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ardell, his daughters, Cheryl Miller, Sandra Ferrell, and Janice Reel, son-in-laws, Michael Reel, and Russell Ferrell. He was also survived by his sister-in-law, Mardell Twigg and nephew, Gary Twigg, Grandsons, Justin Ferrell, Lee Miller, Zachary Reel and Nick Ferrell. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and one sister. Per his request, cremation is scheduled. Roselawn Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
