Kevin W. Clark

Kevin was born on October 14, 1969, to Margaret (Rickenbach) Clark. He graduated from North High School in 1989, where he formed many friendships that remained strong throughout the years. Kevin had a way of making friends wherever he went, and many of those friendships from his younger years remained an important part of his life. He had known Billie Tomes since the tenth grade, first as a friend before their relationship grew into a lifelong love. On March 15, 1996, Kevin and Billie were married, beginning a marriage that would span 30 years and be filled with family, laughter, hard work, and countless memories.

Kevin was truly a jack of all trades. There seemed to be very little he couldn't figure out, fix, build, or make work. A talented mechanic and hardworking craftsman, he worked in construction, installed decals, and took on just about any project that needed to be done. If someone needed something, there was a good chance Kevin either had it, knew where to find it, or could figure out how to make one himself. He was a collector of "all the things," and his ability to accumulate tools, parts, treasures, and whatever else might someday come in handy was just another part of what made Kevin uniquely Kevin.

But his greatest gift was not what he could fix with his hands, it was the way he was always willing to help people. Kevin never seemed to need a reason to lend a hand. If someone needed help, he showed up. If something needed fixing, he would try. If a friend or family member needed something, Kevin did whatever he could to make it happen. He was honest, dependable, hardworking, kind, and generous with his time. He had a heart for people and a willingness to help that made him so well-liked by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Kevin also knew how to have fun. He loved music, especially heavy metal, and there was nothing unusual about finding him jamming out to Slayer and enjoying the music he loved. He enjoyed working on things, riding go-carts and four-wheelers, and spending time doing the things that made him happy. Above all, Kevin loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

His grandchildren knew Kevin as someone who could make an ordinary day into an unforgettable one. One of the memories they will treasure forever is the time Kevin simply showed up and dropped off a go-cart for them as a surprise. Their excitement and happiness were all the reward he needed. Moments like that captured who Kevin was, he worked hard, took care of his family, and found joy in making the people he loved happy.

Kevin's life was one of hard work, family, friendship, music, laughter, and helping others. He was the kind of person who showed up, the kind of person who could make you laugh, and the kind of person you could count on. His absence will leave an enormous space in the lives of those who loved him, but so will the memories he gave them.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents and his beloved daughter, Breanna.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Billie Clark; his children, Levi Clark and Laci Sickles; his mother Margaret (Rickenbach) Clark, his brothers, Joe Duregger and BJ Duregger; his cherished grandchildren, Cashton, Colton, and Wesley; and many other loving family members and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Kevin's legacy will not be measured by the things he collected, the projects he completed, or the work he accomplished, but by the people he helped, the family he loved, the friendships he cherished, and the countless lives he made a little better simply by being there.

He will be remembered for his laughter, his honesty, his kindness, his hardworking spirit, his love of music, his willingness to help, and the unmistakable personality that made Kevin impossible to forget.

"I love you, and I will miss you every day. Thank you for all of the time we had together. Take care of Breanna up there for us. Until we meet again."

Though Kevin's time here ended far sooner than anyone expected, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will remain. His family and friends will carry him with them, in the music, in the memories, in the projects and things he loved, and in every helping-hand extended to someone in need.

A visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, on Wednesday September 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the visitation.
