December 7, 2011 – October 3, 2026
Kimber was only 14 years old, but in those 14 years, she left a piece of herself in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had the sweetest soul, a heart bigger than most people could ever understand. She loved deeply, laughed loudly, & had a way of making her presence known the second she walked into a room.
Kimber was goofy, outgoing, & beautiful inside & out. She could make people laugh when they didn’t feel like laughing, & somehow, when she was being completely ridiculous, everyone loved her even more. She had a smile that was truly one of a kind—a smile that lit up her entire face with dimples for days.
Kimber enjoyed riding dirt bikes, going skating, playing with animals, and spending time with her family & friends. She was incredibly artistic & could lose herself in a drawing, creating something from her imagination. She loved McDonald’s & Subway, & she found happiness in the little things.
Kimber was so much more than the way she left this world. She was her smile. Her laugh. Her quirky personality. Her creativity. Her love for animals. Her adventurous spirit. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, granddaughter, family member, & friend. She was a piece of so many hearts.
Kimber is survived by her mother, Nancy Stevens; her sisters, Kailyn Kirby and Kierstyn Kirby; her nephew, Brantley Higginbotham; & her nieces, Oakley Higginbotham and Blakeley Higginbotham, along with her boyfriend Mason Tingley. She is reunited in heaven with her father, Gary Kirby.
We will spend the rest of our lives carrying the love we have for her, even on the days when that love hurts more than we can explain. We will say her name. We will tell her stories. We will keep her memories alive. & we will love her for the rest of our lives.
Until we meet again, Kimber
We love you more than words will ever be able to say.
Our beautiful sweet Kimber Alyse forever.
Forever 14. Forever an Angel with an Attitude.
