Lillian M Meredith

Lillian M. Meredith, 97, of Terre Haute passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 in Southwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 11, 1917 in Michigan City, IN to Guy Benjamin Mulligan and Eva Mae Hall. Lillian retired from Chesty Foods after 20 years of service.

Lillian married her soul mate, Emery R. Meredith on September 23, 1936. Emery preceded her in death after 62 years of marriage in 1999. Also preceding her in death were her two sisters, Juanita Martin and Edna Mary Mulligan.

Survivors include one son, Richard W. Meredith of Elmwood, IL and his wife Janice; three grandchildren, Michelle Bertke and her husband Rob of Peoria, IL, Richard Meredith, Jr. of Denver, CO, and Holly Meredith of Texas; seven great grandchildren, Isaac Bertke, Ellie Bertke, Jenna Bertke, Ashley Meredith, Katherine Meredith, Myah Meredith, and Annika Meredith; and several nieces and nephews.

Lillian was a member of the old Maple Avenue Christian Church.

Service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2015 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to services on Saturday. Funeral information may also be found at:
