Lisa was born in Terre Haute on April 20, 1951, the daughter of Earl Ray and Carmen (Shanks) Russell.
She attended Gerstmeyer High School, and also attended Indiana Business College.
Mrs. Kupferer married her husband, Jack J. Kupferer in 1967, he died in the Vietnam War. She went to work for Columbia Records as an order processor for 16 years. Later, she worked for Terre Haute Regional Hospital as a PBX Operator for 15 years. Lisa enjoyed disc golf.
Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline Parvin, her son-in-law, Edward Parvin, both of Terre Haute; a grandson, Cameron Parvin, Terre Haute; a brother-in-law, John Kupferer; a sister-in-law, Sally Beryl Rice; and her long-time friend, K.C. Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her mother and father-in-law, Sally and Beryl Kupferer.
