Lisle Eugene Harris Sr.

Lisle is survived by his children, Lisle “Bub” Harris Jr. (Amber), Lila “Castle Berry” Wilson (Scott), Danielle “Duck” Harris, Zach “ZP” Harris (Stephanie), Jeremiah “Squeaky” Harris (Heather), and Tabitha “Stinky” Harris; and grandchildren, Dyllon, Dakota, Cassidy, Sydnei, Payge, Scotty Jr., Trenyti, Laynae, Garry, Georgie, and Chris.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Garry Wayne; and his grandmother, Lois “Deedee” Blocksom.

Lisle worked for many years as an over the road truck driver and spent the last 11 years with RBW. He enjoyed his career because it allowed him to see the United States. He had seen every state except Hawaii, because as he would always say “semis won’t float.” When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed going on vacation and golfing. Most of all he cherished the time he spent with his family and special friends, Junior, Farris, Peyton, and other co-workers. He will be truly missed.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at Thomas Funeral Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, with the Rev. James Haddix officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at:
