Marjorie J. Kimmel, 82, of Terre Haute, passed away at Wyndmoor Assisted Living facility on August 28, 2016. Marjorie was born on December 24, 1933, in Vigo County, Indiana to Burtis and Freda Walters, and she had six siblings. She graduated from Fontanet High School in 1951 and was married to Richard D. Kimmel on December 10, 1954. Marjorie as a stay-at-home mother, and she and Richard raised four daughters and one grandchild. Marjorie was preceded in death by Richard, who passed away in January 2013. Marjorie is survived in death by her children: Terri Kimmel (Randy Reese), Penny Arnet (Kevin), Rebecca Lewis (Johnnie) and Sandy Briggs (Joseph); and nine grandchildren, as well as many great grandchildren, extended family and friends. A private service was held for Marjorie on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Roselawn Memorial Park, where she was buried next to her husband.
